Value Valves Supports “Earth Hour”
Every year, on the last Saturday of March at 8:30 PM local time, people around the world are invited to turn off unnecessary lights for one hour. This global initiative, Earth Hour, was launched by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Sydney, Australia in 2007.
Today, 192 countries and regions participate in this annual event. In 2021, Taiwan saved approximately:
- 125,000 kWh of electricity
- Equivalent to 63,600 kg of CO₂ emissions
- Equivalent to planting over 5,784 trees
Value Valves joins Earth Hour! On March 26, let’s all turn off unnecessary lights for one hour. By switching off lights, we can save energy, reduce carbon emissions, and make a positive impact for the planet.
Every small action counts—this is how we show our love for Earth!
